Harbaugh offers updates on status of Dax Hill, Quinn Nordin

In Week 1, Michigan managed to blow out Minnesota 49-24 on the road. The Wolverines did so without two key pieces for most of the game.
Michigan kicker Quinn Nordin did not play after aggravating an injury in practice this week. Sophomore safety Daxton Hill left the game in the first half and did not return. As the Wolverines prepare for a game against their in-state rival, head coach Jim Harbaugh provided an update on the two injured Michigan players.
Asked Harbaugh about Dax Hill. Said he thinks “he's going to be fine” Will know in the next day or so. anticipate him practicing.

Hill exited the game midway through the second quarter following a Gopher scoring drive that went 10 plays and 75 yards. It appeared the sophomore’s injury came when attempting to tackle Minnesota running back Mohamed Ibrahim.
Prior to leaving the game, Hill had three tackles. The former five-star recruit is a key piece to the Wolverines defense.
As for Nordin, his status was in question all week. While Harbaugh had said Nordin was making progress to return to the field, he suffered a setback. But on Monday, the Michigan coach seemed more optimistic about Nordin.
The importance of Nordin came up often in Saturday’s win. His replacement, Jake Moody, went 0-for-3 as part of a Wolverine special teams unit that struggled with missed field goals and a blocked punt.
If both can return to the field and stay there as Michigan makes its regular season run, that would really be a boost for the Wolverines.
