Rejoice, Ohio State fans.

You can now enjoy an adult beverage — without sitting in a club level seat — at Ohio Stadium. The Buckeyes announced on Wednesday that it will start selling beer stadium-wide in 2016.

Here was what the release said:

As an extension of the 2015 pilot program at Ohio Stadium, beer sales now will be available stadium-wide during the 2016 football season. The sale of alcohol began in 2015 for patrons with tickets in the suite and club levels of Ohio Stadium.

The revenue generated by alcohol sales at Ohio Stadium will be used to fund two new full-time positions in the Ohio State Police Department at an annual cost of about $300,000. These new positions will be utilized year-round by campus police and are not specifically just for game day security.

In addition, $50,000 will go to OSU’s Higher Education Center for Alcohol andDrug Misuse Prevention and Recovery.

The school began a new policy in 2015 that allowed for alcohol to be sold at the club level. That was only available for 4,370 fans at Ohio Stadium. Previously, it was beer and wine that were made available.

In other news, larger than 5x8x1 will no longer be allowed in Ohio Stadium. Just in case that first part wasn’t enough news for you.
