Penn State players confident in 'bounce back' opportunity vs. Ohio State

No. 18 Penn State has a tall task ahead of itself when they host No. 3 Ohio State on Saturday night (6:30 p.m. CST/ABC).

However, the Nittany Lions players are supremely certain they’re ready for the challenge.

Penn State suffered a crushing 36-35 overtime defeat at Indiana in Week 1. Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford cites turnovers as the game-changing factor.

Sean Clifford reiterates that if you take Penn State’s turnovers out of the equation that it’s a very different game. Obvious, but easier to fix those issues that broad general struggles.

Two of Penn State’s three turnovers were interceptions by Clifford.

Clifford was without receiver Cam Sullivan-Brown against Indiana and it’s unknown if he’ll be ready to go against Ohio State. Clifford has faith that the wide receivers overall can make impactful plays on Saturday night.

Penn State is looking to avoid an 0-2 B1G start for the first time since 2010. Penn State defensive end Jayson Oweh believes the team will have all cylinders clicking against Ohio State.
