Indiana’s instant-classic win against Penn State in Week 1 is now well in the rear-view mirror.
Now, the Hoosiers’ focus turns to Rutgers, a team that also had a historic win as the Scarlet Knights won their first Big Ten game since 2017. Indiana, however, has jumped into the AP Top 25 and is a confident group. To get everyone else hyped up for what’s to come from this squad in 2020, head coach Tom Allen released an inspiring video Thursday:

At first glance, it was a little surprising that there weren’t highlights from that Week 1 win. Fans are still sharing memes of Michael Penix Jr. reaching for the pylon to give Indiana the win in overtime.
But this video certainly gives off the vibe that the Hoosiers are focused on winning more than just one game this season. The goal is much bigger than that.
Since Allen took over as head coach in 2016, Indiana fans have seen this program grow both on the field and off the field with marked improvements in recruiting. That seems to really be coming into fruition in 2020 as the No. 17 Hoosiers have picked up some national steam after the win over the Nittany Lions.
Indiana fans are hoping this one game is a trend instead of a mirage.
