Minnesota unveils Week 2 uniform combination before Maryland game

Minnesota is looking to get its first win of the season on Friday night vs. Maryland

The Gophers have revealed their Week 2 uniform combination on Twitter:

Minnesota is going with a gold helmet, white jersey and gold pants as it tries to even the all-time series with the Terps. The Gophers are 2-3 in series history, but 2-2 since Maryland joined the Big Ten. The Terrapins also defeated the Gophers 17-7 back in 1977.

Last season, Minnesota won this game at home by a comfortable 52-10 margin.
The Terps are coming off a disappointing 43-3 loss at the hands of Northwestern.
This game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET Friday night.
