Four-star RB recruit flips from Ohio State to Pitt

For the first time in a long time, Ohio State got some negative news on the recruiting front.
Akron’s Todd Sibley, a four-star running back who was committed to the Buckeyes, announced that he flipped his verbal to Pitt:

Eleven Warriors reported that Sibley had been asked to take a grayshirt, which would’ve delayed his enrollment. As a result, Pat Narduzzi scooped up the 2017 tailback.
The Archbishop Hoban (OH) product is the No. 19 running back and the No. 274 player overall in the 2017 class. The 5-9, 215-pound tailback is the No. 12-ranked player in the state of Ohio, according to 247sports.
That dropped Ohio State’s number of commitments from 14 to 13, but it still kept the Buckeyes with a firm hold on the No. 1 spot in the class rankings.
Four-star Texas product J.K. Dobbins is the only tailback in OSU’s 2017 class, but the Buckeyes are still recruiting plenty.
The No. 1 recruit in the country, five-star Alabama commit Najee Harris, visited Ohio State unofficially for the spring game. The Buckeyes are also in the market for five-star tailback Cam Akers, who is ranked No. 16 in the entire 2017 class.
Ohio State still has 10 four-star and two five-star recruits in its 2017 class.
