Joe Tessitore provides impeccable call of crucial fourth-down converted by his son, John Tessitore

Joe Tessitore was probably not expecting to call an offensive play involving his son today.
On Saturday, the Tessitore family had an interesting intersection involved college football. Joe is a popular broadcaster for ESPN and drew the assignment of calling the game between top-ranked Clemson and Boston College.
That assignment meant Tessitore would be calling a game involving his son, John, who is punter/kicker for the BC Eagles. However, both Tessitore’s probably did not envision John getting under center for a key fourth-down.
Well, that is what happened as John wound up as the signal-caller for a trick play that pulled Clemson off-sides on fourth down. It kept a drive alive that would help Boston College boost its leads over the No. 1 team in the nation.
To his credit, Joe did a remarkable job calling a play that involved his own son. Have a listen:
