Media reacts to MSU's shocking win over Michigan
What a game.
In the world of college football, one week can make all the difference. Just ask Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker.
After starting his tenure in East Lansing with a seven turnover dud in the loss to Rutgers, Tucker and the Spartans completely flipped the script in Week 2.
Heading into Ann Arbor to face Michigan saw Michigan State as a huge underdog vs their bitter rivals. But behind a massive day from quarterback Rocky Lombardi and wide receiver Ricky White, the Spartans held on for a 27-24 victory.
It is quite the first win for Tucker with the Spartans, and plenty in the media reacted to his start as head coach in East Lansing:
Mel Tucker is only coach in college football history that is undefeated all-time vs. Michigan & winless all-time vs. Rutgers

Michigan State recovers the onside kick.
That should do it.
The same team that turned the ball over 7 times vs. Rutgers last week will win at Michigan this week.

Mel Tucker with a huge first win, beating Michigan. One of the bigger one-week turnarounds I've seen.

From @ESPNStatsInfo: Mel Tucker joins Nick Saban (1995) as the only #MichiganState head coaches to defeat Michigan in his first game against the Wolverines at the school.
