The first quarter of Saturday afternoon’s Auburn and LSU game was actually pretty boring – just a missed field goal attempt at the end of the quarter was the only scoring opportunity.
The remaining periods saw a total of 59 points as Auburn topped LSU 48-11.
Things escalated quickly in the second quarter, after Auburn quarterback Bo Nix found Eli Stove in the endzone to break the scoreless deadlock. Auburn put up another pair of touchdowns before halftime and went to the locker room with a 21-3 lead.
By the end of the third period, Auburn had exploded for a 42-3 lead.
