Primetime Saturday night will feature a showdown of No. 18 Penn State and No. 3 Ohio State in College Station, but what it will not feature is the traditional “White Out” night by Nittany Lions fans
Without the 100,000 screaming fans, all donning white and making the Buckeyes’ offense miserable, the stadium will be mostly silent because of the coronavirus pandemic, and the restriction on fans in the stands.
On an already eerie Halloween night, the sounds, or lack thereof, in Happy Valley will be a spooky addition to the evening.

Penn State did the best it could within the parameters set. The school is using cardboard cutouts to fill seats inside the stadium and will pump in crowd noise throughout the game like other B1G schools.
Still, it won’t be the same inside the walls of Beaver Stadium.
