Penn State fell to 0-2 on the season on Saturday night, and fans are frustrated.
Ohio State took the game 38-25, but that score line is a bit deceiving. The game was never in doubt, despite a three touchdown performance from Penn State receiver Jahan Dotson.
This loss comes on the heels of Penn State’s controversial defeat against Indiana in Week 1.
Penn State has now lost eight of its last nine games to the Buckeyes, including four straight.
Here’s some of the reaction from Nittany Lion fans, who are especially frustrated with coach James Franklin:
Absolutely embarrassing. This team is an absolute disgrace and embarrassment. James Franklin sucks and so does his staff. Brutal!! #Weare #OSUvsPSU

James Franklin now 5-14 against Mich, MSU, and OSU. I think it's time to try something new @psufootball

Was 9 points off in my score prediction. I guessed 38-16 and it was 38-25.
Thankful that good ol' "Big Game James" Franklin kept everything under wraps for a half. "Elite programs" don't wait one full half to start actually playing in matchups aginst top-5 teams.

Are we really shocked? Glad you decide to wake up in the second half. Learn to play 4 QUARTERS!

Tired of losing to these top teams, I know this is a new offense but you can tell the difference especially up front. #weneedtobeELITEagain!
