Another weekend of college football games has resulted in some changes to ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) rankings.
Each week, ESPN updates the FPI rankings on Sunday morning, following the weekend of college football. Ohio State still leads the way following a 38-25 win over Penn State on Saturday night and, despite having to cancel this week’s game against Nebraska because of COVID-19 concerns, Wisconsin is still in the No. 4 spot.
Only four other B1G teams find their names inside the top 25 through the first two weeks of the season — or nine weeks for college football as a whole. Here’s a look at the ESPN FPI Top 25:
- Ohio State
- Alabama
- Clemson
- Wisconsin
- Georgia
- Notre Dame
- Penn State
- Oklahoma
- Florida
- Oregon
- USC
- Texas
- Auburn
- UCF
- Oklahoma State
- Virginia Tech
- BYU
- Indiana
- Cincinnati
- Northwestern
- Texas A&M
- Michigan
- Utah
- LSU
- Iowa State
Because the FPI ranks every team at the FBS level, let’s take a look at where each B1G team stands, as well:
- No. 30: Iowa
- No. 43: Purdue
- No. 45: Nebraska
- No. 65: Minnesota
- No. 68: Michigan State
- No. 74: Rutgers
- No. 75: Illinois
- No. 102: Maryland
