Joel Klatt has a brand new Top 10. Based on the latest results from the college football weekend, he believes there are three teams that could occupy the No. 1 spot right now.
After Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson all recorded convincing wins on Saturday, Klatt has all three sharing the No. 1 ranking in his new Top 10. The Buckeyes are one of just two B1G teams included in Klatt’s latest rankings.
Klatt also has Wisconsin sneaking into the Top 10, despite its Week 2 game being canceled due to COVID-19 concerns. The Badgers dominated Illinois in Week 1 but didn’t get a chance to take the field against Nebraska. Here’s a look at Klatt’s new Top 10:
- No. 1: Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson
- No. 4: Notre Dame
- No. 5: Texas A&M
- No. 6: Georgia
- No. 7: BYU
- No. 8: Cincinnati
- No. 9: Florida
- No. 10: Wisconsin
Just missing the cut for Klatt’s Top 10 were Miami (FL), Oklahoma, Marshall, Oklahoma State and Indiana.

How will these rankings look next week? Because of the chaos caused in college football in 2020, next Sunday’s Top 10 could look much, much different.
