The Ohio State Buckeyes are back to murdering Big Ten competition and look poised to make a repeat trip to the College Football Playoff and an opportunity to play for a national championship.
Last night’s victim was 18th ranked Penn State playing at home in Beaver Stadium. The number three-ranked Buckeyes took a lead early in the first quarter and never let the Nittany Lions back in, keeping the game at two scores or more for the rest of the night in a 38-25 win.
Ohio State’s sensational quarterback Justin Fields was full of both humility and praise for teammates in the post-game press conference. After throwing for 318 yards and four touchdowns, Fields was eager to pass credit to his head coach Ryan Day, and wide receivers Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson who, according to Fields, give him the opportunity to shine so bright.

The Buckeyes at 2-0 are home next Saturday to Big Ten bottom feeder Rutgers (1-1), a team experiencing a second semi-resurgence under newly returned former-current head coach Greg Schiano.
