Former Wisconsin pass rusher Andrew Van Ginkel just made one of the plays of the day in the NFL.

With the Rams threatening to score in the red zone, Ginkel picked up a Jared Goff fumble and returned it all the way for a Dolphins touchdown.

That’s a 78-yard scoop-and-score to give his team the lead.

This play completely changed the momentum of the game, as Goff would go on to turn it over two more times in the first half and Miami took a 28-7 lead to the half.

In college, Van Ginkel recorded 19.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks in two seasons for the Badgers. He also picked off two passes, recovered a fumble, forced four fumbles and scored a touchdown.

A former fifth round pick, Van Ginkel is carving out a role for himself in the NFL. This was his second career fumble recovery and he he’s also forced a fumble.

The Dolphins are looking to move to 4-3 on the season.
