Michigan State opened as a 9-point underdog to Iowa at Circa Sportsbook, but that number dropped almost immediately.
Bettors are backing the Spartans, at least early on in the week. The line is now Michigan State +7.
Spartans opened as a 9-point dog and line quickly dropped to 7. Thanks @CircaSports. 👍 https://t.co/GoeExmVKLe

Michigan State is coming off a huge 27-24 victory over rival Michigan. The Spartans are a tough team to figure out, though, as they also turned it over seven times in a Week 1 loss to Rutgers.
Meanwhile, Iowa has struggled mightily out of the gate. Kirk Ferentz’s squad lost to Purdue in Week 1 and were completely shut down offensively by Northwestern in Week 2. The Hawkeyes are 0-2 for the first time since 2000.
Per OddShark’s college football betting database, Iowa is 11-18-1 ATS in its last 30 games as a home favorite of a touchdown or more.
Overall, this looks like a solid benchmark game for both programs. The Spartans have won three straight in this series, but Iowa holds the all-time advantage at 23-22-2.
Michigan State and Iowa will kick off at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday.
