It was a scary scene at Ole Miss practice Monday.

According to Rebel head coach Lane Kiffin, DaMarcus Thomas suffered an injury during practice and was unable to move, causing a helicopter from a local hospital come to get him.

Thomas is a freshman tight end for Ole Miss. He is Saraland, Alabama, native.

At this point, details are few and far between. Kiffin revealed that Thomas had zero feeling in his entire body. The injury allegedly came from a hit during practice. His family has been informed of the injury.

Kiffin was reportedly visibly shaken while talking to the media about the injury. It’s a scary moment for sure and hopefully Thomas makes it through OK.
