Ohio State coach Ryan Day met with the media Tuesday and had plenty to say about moving forward after the Buckeyes 38-25 road win over Penn State.

Among the topics, Day discussed the future of the season without cornerback Cameron Brown, who will miss the remainder of the season with an achilles injury.

“Tyreke Johnson is the first guy that needs to step up at cornerback with Cameron Brown out, along with Ryan Watts and Cameron Martinez,” said Day. “Cam came in with experience this season at a position where we couldn’t afford to lose anyone. So to lose Cam, it’s a significant hit. I really feel bad for Cam and his family.”

He also talked about the difficulty of playing with the artificial crowd noise and praised the work of his other corners through the first two weeks, Shaun Wade and Sevyn Banks.

“I thought they played well. [Jahan] Dotson made some really good plays. On those two long ones, I thought Shaun was right there. The kid just made two remarkable catches,” said Day.
