5-star prospect, nation’s top OT for 2022 includes 2 B1G teams on Top 6 list

On Wednesday, we learned that two Big Ten teams are gunning for one of the nation’s top offensive tackle recruits.
Gunner Givens, an offensive tackle out of Daleville, Virginia, announced his Top 6 teams on his Twitter. That list included some big names, including Ohio State and Penn State.

Givens is a big name in the Class of 2022. He is the top-rated offensive tackle in the class, according to 247Sports. His offer list is filled with just about every Power 5 team in the country.
Most of these names are not surprising. Clemson, Alabama, and Ohio State are quite often in the mix for prospects like this. North Carolina seems like a surprise, but maybe Mack Brown has something going in Chapel Hill.
If either of these Big Ten programs picks up Givens, that’s a big-time win.
