Return of MACtion: Akron provides craziness on MAC’s first play of 2020

This year has been crazy, but never fear, MACtion is here.
Yes, the mid-week dream that is MAC football is back for your viewing pleasure. And in peak MACtion, the game between Western Michigan and Akron started with a WILD sequence.
Before the first play of scrimmage, the Zips decided it was the perfect time for an onside kick. And it worked!

Unfortunately, a flag on the play wiped away that successful recovery for Akron. After the penalty, the Zips decided to kick it deep instead.
Things are a mess in so many ways for so many people this year, but the MAC is right on schedule with its weirdness.
Face it, we all need a little more MACtion in our lives. Especially if it looks like this.
