The NBA combine is underway, and yes, it’s not at its normal time. But that doesn’t mean we can look on at some former Big Ten players and be wowed.
Two players who are succeeding at the combine are former Michigan State standouts Cassius Winston and Xavier Tillman. We got some shooting numbers for these two former Spartans on Thursday and they are astounding.

Wow. That 75 percent number on three-point shooting for Tillman is amazing. So is that number for Winston. Both really showed off their shooting prowess in this combine. But it really shouldn’t be too surprising if you watched either play in East Lansing.
The draft is now less than two weeks, which is weird to think about. But welcome to 2020. We’ll see if this performance can increase their draft stock.
According to ESPN, Winston is the No. 29 overall prospect in this draft and Tillman is at No. 32 overall. It’s possible either or both players could be picked in the first round.
The 2020 NBA Draft is on Nov. 18.
