Ohio State announced its inactive list heading into Saturday’s matchup against visiting Rutgers (7:30 p.m. EST/BTN).
Senior kicker Blake Haubeil is out due to a groin injury he sustained last week at Penn State. During his career, Haubeil has converted 24 of his 29 fields and all of his extra-point attempts.
Haubeil will be replaced by either freshman Jake Seibert or walk-on Dominic DiMaccio. Against Penn State, DiMaccio performed kickoffs and went 1-of-2 on his field goals, making a 23-yarder and missing a 22-yarder.
Senior tight end Jake Hausmann is inactive, as well as junior cornerback Cameron Brown, who suffered a season-ending torn Achilles injury.
Here are the other inactive players:
- Cornerback Lejond Cavazos
- Cornerback Lloyd McFarquhar
- Defensive tackle Jacolbe Cowan
- Defensive tackle Jaden McKenzie
- Running back Marcus Crowley
- Offensive lineman Gavin Cupp
- Tight end Patrick Gurd
- Receiver Jaylen Harris
- Long snapper Roen McCullough
- Safety Kourt Williams
Ohio State leads the all-time series 6-0 against Rutgers and has scored at least 49 points in each meeting. The Buckeyes enter the contest as -37 favorites over Greg Schiano and the Scarlet Knights.
