Northwestern reveals long list of inactive players for Nebraska game

Northwestern put out a list of inactive players shortly before kickoff of its Week 3 game vs. Nebraska.

Here’s the list of 15 Wildcats who will miss this game;

It’s not clear why each of these players are missing the game.

Running back Isaiah Bowser is the only player who was listed as a starter for Northwestern’s Week 2 game against Iowa.

Expect running back Drake Anderson to take over a large portion of the running back touches. He’s averaging 6.1 yards per carry so far this season.

The Wildcats are 2-0 this season after defeating Maryland and the Hawkeyes in the opening weeks. They have one of the best defenses in the country according to ESPN’s SP+ metric, which ranks them No. 3 heading into this week.
