Michigan State adds first commitment to 2022 class with OL out of Georgia

Michigan State has added a commitment to its 2022 recruiting class, marking the first commitment for that class.

The commitment comes from Kristian Phillips, an offensive lineman out of Conyers, Georgia. Phillips has received offers from Arizona State, Delaware State, and the Spartans.

Phillips has not yet been rated by the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, but he remains an intriguing prospect. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 310 lbs., Phillips has the raw size teams look for in linemen at the next level.

Hopefully Phillips is the first of many commits for Mel Tucker and the Spartans. There is obviously plenty of work to do with the team after the blowout loss to Iowa.
