When Ohio State finished off Rutgers 49-27 last Saturday, they logged their 19th straight victory over a regular season opponent.
At the time, it was the second longest active streak of its kind in the FBS, until later that night when Notre Dame finished off Clemson in two overtimes to hand the Tigers their first regular season loss in 39 games.
The 47-40 loss to the Irish also ended the Tigers’ streak of 28 wins over ACC opponents and 14 straight road wins.
The Irish currently hold the second longest active regular season win streak with 12, while Liberty, Coastal Carolina and BYU are all tied for the third best with eight.
For the Buckeyes, they will look to keep their run going when they travel to Maryland to take on the Terrapins on Saturday, Nov. 14.
