Nobody wins in a head-butt, especially if you’re the one without a helmet!

Indiana head coach Tom Allen was a little more than excited while his Hoosiers were taking it to Michigan on Saturday.

After Devon Matthews snared a game-clinching interception during the final period to secure the first Indiana victory over Michigan since 1987, Allen lept in celebration with Matthews and ended up on the wrong side of a head-butt.

Allen said he, “strategically” turned his head when he jumped on Monster because he has gotten black eyes and broken teeth from jumping into players’ helmets in celebration.

“That’s why this is no big deal.”

The win moved Indiana into a tie for first place in the B1G East, and they will look to move to 4-0  when they take on Michigan State in East Lansing. Week 4’s kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 AM EST on Saturday, Nov. 14.
