Iowa defensive back Daraun Mckinney has officially announced he will be entering the transfer portal after not playing to start the season:

When he was recruited to Iowa, 247Sports had him listed as a three-star and his rating was 0.8510.
He was considered the 27th best player in the state of Michigan and the 1,101st ranked player nationally for 2019, according to the Composite Rankings.
It’s still too early to determine what is next for McKinney. Other schools that recruited him out of high school besides Iowa were Ball State, Cincinnati, Buffalo, and Northern Illinois, according to 247Sports.
There’s a chance that some of those schools could circle back to him but we’ll have to see what other options he has as well. Of course, McKinney could ultimately withdraw his name and stay with the Hawkeyes, but his announcement appears to point toward a likely exit.
