Josh Perry of the Big Ten Network has somehow unveiled his top five playmakers from the Big Ten even though it’s ridiculously hard to do so.
Perry has Ohio State’s Justin Fields at No. 1 on the list and said, “87% completion right now, 11 touchdowns, no interceptions. He has more touchdowns accounted for this year than he has for incompletions.”
He also put Purdue’s David Bell on the list:
“Here’s a guy in only two games so far, four touchdowns, 121 yards a game,” said Perry. “He catches everything that’s thrown to him.”
Here’s his full top five list:
No. 1 – Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State
No. 2 – Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
No. 3 – David Bell, WR, Purdue
No. 4 – Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State
No. 5 – Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State
"This is probably one of the toughest Power Rankings I'm gonna have to do."
How do you narrow all the talented playmakers in B1G 🏈 down to a Top 5 list? @RIP_JEP gives it a shot. 👀

One player that may have been a snub from this list is Minnesota wide receiver, Rashod Bateman. He’s been lights out for the Golden Gophers so far this season with 302 yards receiving on 24 catches and a touchdown.
It’s also interesting that Perry, a former linebacker from his playing days, did not include a defensive selection in his list. Northwestern especially has some big defensive stars that have helped the Wildcats to a 3-0 start this season.
