Originally, this was scheduled for a Noon ET kickoff. But with the cancelation of Ohio State-Maryland, things are starting to change as there is a little more flexibility in timing for these games.
The first domino to fall in this changing of game times came when Northwestern announced its game vs Purdue was moved to 5 p.m. ET on BTN.
With those changes in mind, here is how the Big Ten schedule looks for this weekend at this point. All times are eastern.
- Iowa at Minnesota, Friday, 7 p.m., FS1
- Indiana at Michigan State, Saturday, Noon, ABC
- Penn State at Nebraska, Saturday, Noon, FS1
- Illinois at Rutgers, Saturday, 1 p.m., Big Ten Network
- Northwestern at Purdue, Saturday, 5 p.m., Big Ten Network
- Wisconsin at Michigan, Saturday, 7:30 p.m., ABC
These changes mean there are fewer Big Ten games going up against each other for television ratings. This all could change at the drop of the hat, however. That seems like the trend this week in college football.
