There’s nothing like seeing a couple of former B1G West foes duking it out in the NFL.

That is exactly what happened in Thursday’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans. Playing for the Titans is Amani Hooker, a second-year defensive back out of Iowa. He is going up against the Colts and Jonathan Taylor, a rookie running back after a legendary career at Wisconsin.

The two players even found themselves one-on-one on this play. Unfortunately for Hooker, Taylor dominated the exchange.

After catching a short screen pass, Taylor cut downfield and picked up a head of steam. He shrugged off Hooker’s attempt at a tackle before spinning out of the contact and picking up the first down.

We’ll chalk this up as Taylor – 1, Hooker – 0, for now:

The two previously faced off against each other in 2018. Hooker finished the game with 11 tackles while Taylor rushed for 113 yards. Taylor also rushed for 157 yards against the Hawkeyes in 2017, but Hooker did not play in that contest.
