Tyler Goodson has a new personal best in the rushing category.
Goodson piled up 142 yards and scored 2 touchdowns in Iowa’s 35-7 win over Minnesota at TCF Bank Stadium on Friday night. It was the highest rushing yardage total for Goodson in his short career with the Hawkeyes.
Last season, Goodson totaled 116 yards in Iowa’s victory over Nebraska to close out the regular season. He carried the ball for 113 yards and a pair of scores in last week’s win over Michigan State.
Friday night marked the third 100-yard rushing game for Goodson as a Hawkeye. He’s played in 17 career games now.
Goodson was able to get the 142 yards on 20 carries, which means he maintained a 7.1 yards per carry average through the course of the game.
