On College Gameday earlier this morning, analyst Kirk Herbstreit talked about the massive Wisconsin-Michigan matchup coming up later today. It’ll be just Wisconsin’s second game of the season since they’ve had two of their other games postponed due to COVID-19.
When asked about the Badgers and not playing as much, Herbstreit said, “I don’t know if the average fan outside of Madison, outside of Wisconsin knows what Wisconsin went through. Not just to not play games, but you’re not at the facility. You’re in your dorm or your apartment, not working out, unless you’re doing push-ups or something else at home.”
He then went into talking about the Wolverines and what they need to do better moving forward. Herbstreit said, “You know what I saw from Michigan in the first game? Controlling the line of scrimmage. The last two games, they’ve not been able to do that. If Joe Milton is going to become the quarterback we think he can be, they need to be able to run the football.”
Kickoff for this game is scheduled to be at 7:30 p.m. ET tonight and the game will be shown on ABC.
