Former Wildcat WR Ben Skowronek fights through pass interference for strong TD grab

Ben Skowronek has moved on since his time with the Wildcats, but he is still making strong catches on Saturdays.
Skowronek played four years at Northwestern from 2016-19, finishing with 110 catches for 1,417 yards and eight touchdowns. Following 2019, Skowronek landed with Notre Dame as a grad transfer.
So far, his Fighting Irish career is off to a solid start, and he is continuing that strong play in the game against Boston College. Quarterback Ian Book threw a fade toward Skowronek early Saturday with Skowronek’s defender interfering with him on the play.
That contact didn’t matter as he fought back to the ball and held onto the catch over the defender. It was his third touchdown of the season at Notre Dame:

Skowronek and the Fighting Irish are up to No. 2 on the AP Poll after last week’s win over Clemson, but Boston College is fighting hard for the upset. Hopefully Skowronek continues to have a solid year with his new program.
