During his Monday appearance on The Big Show on the Big Ten Network, former Iowa Hawkeyes defensive end and current analyst Anthony Herron identified his key matchup in Saturday’s clash between the No. 3 Buckeyes and No. 9 Indiana Hoosiers at Ohio Stadium.

Herron is focusing on Ohio State’s secondary, a level of the defense that has been strong for the program in recent years but has been closer to the middle of the pack in 2020, allowing 223.3 passing yards per game, which ranks 55th among Football Bowl Subdivision schools.

Completing 60.7 percent of his attempts, Indiana redshirt sophomore Michael Penix, Jr. leads the conference with 1,070 passing yards and has tossed nine touchdowns.

Senior Ty Fryfogle, one of the league’s most improved players, has posted a conference-high 424 receiving yards and four scores on 24 catches, while classmate Whop Philyor ranks tenth with 287 yards and a score on the same number of receptions.

Set to be broadcast on FOX, this game will kick at 12 p.m. ET with the Big Noon Kickoff crew, featuring former Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer, in attendance.
