When will we find out a schedule for the Big Ten basketball season? It finally sounds like it is just around the corner.
The NCAA basketball season is set to start next week on Nov. 25. Though conference play usually starts later in the season, it has been odd to hear nothing in terms of Big Ten play to date.
Well, Tuesday evening Nebraska Cornhuskers AD Bill Moos hinted that the Big Ten basketball schedule is expected to be released Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning. Sam McKewon with the Omaha World-Herald shared the comments:
Nebraska AD Bill Moos says Big Ten will have a 20-game hoops schedule to be released tonight or tomorrow morning. #huskers

As the tweet says, it will be a 20-game schedule and the NCAA official start date is November 25.
Big Ten play would likely start sometime down the road after non-conference games are played. We already know the Big Ten/ACC challenge has been confirmed and it’s going to be played between December 8 and 9.
Hopefully we get a comprehensive 20-game schedule that is able to avoid major interruptions or speed bumps.
