After a week off, No. 3 Ohio State returns with a showdown against visiting No. 9 Indiana on Saturday (11 a.m. CST/FOX). While the Buckeyes are looking forward to that matchup, there is still some lingering disappointment about not being able to square off against upstart Maryland.
Last week’s game was cancelled due COVID-19 issues at Maryland.
Ohio State offensive lineman Thayer Munford was extremely displeased with the decision, while still understanding that this is the new reality at the moment.
Thayer Munford on how he reacted when the Maryland game was canceled: “Me personally, I was not happy at all.” But said they had to accept the realities of COVID-19 and just move on to preparing for Indiana.

With all the schedule reshuffling across college football during this pandemic, players have to be more mentally prepared than ever. It’s not surprising that a competitor such as Munford badly wanted to play but at least he gets to take out his frustrations this week.
Ohio State leads the all-time series 75-12-5 vs. Indiana and is currently on a 24-game winning streak against the Hoosiers.
