Taking a 17-7 deficit into the halftime break, the Michigan Wolverines were in search of a second-half spark against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
Courtesy of sophomore Giles Jackson, Michigan did not have to wait long, as he returned the opening kick of the half 95 yards for a touchdown.

This was the second career kick return score for Jackson, his first came in the November 2, 2019 victory over the Maryland Terrapins.
A product of Freedom High School in Oakley, California, Jackson caught nine passes for 142 yards and a touchdown as a freshman, adding 69 yards and another score on 10 rushing attempts.
Entering Saturday, he had posted 11 receptions for 117 yards in 2020, while also carrying the football twice for five yards.
