Earlier this evening, Tim Brando reacted to a monster Week 12 of college football as we get closer to seeing who’s going to make the College Football Playoff this year.
“When you get to November, it’s time to make statements.”@TimBrando recaps a pivotal Week 12, including who picked up signature wins and who came up short with big opportunities. pic.twitter.com/b7gGxzPROR

In the video (starting at the 2:16 mark), he talked about Ohio State’s game against Indiana from Saturday and how they still have some holes in their defense after their latest 42-35 win.
“In the Big ten, Ohio state, an opportunity for a statement against an upstart Indiana Hoosiers club, maybe Indiana’s best team since John Pont coached them to the rose bowl in 1967. That Indiana team was down 3 touchdowns and guess what? They came back,” said Brando. “They allowed Michael Penix to throw for 491 yards in the air. The team in Columbus only gave up a yard rushing, so they turned Indiana into a single-minded one-dimensional team. It didn’t matter. The Hoosiers were just that good. The Buckeyes have holes on defense and now, they won’t get propped up by anyone in the Big Ten.”
He then continued to talk about the Buckeyes when Northwestern’s win against Wisconsin came up:
“Northwestern took down Wisconsin. The AP had Wisconsin at 2-0 in the top ten. Really? Well now, a potential matchup with Wisconsin as the champion of that division or maybe even with Northwestern, will not do Ohio State a great deal of good,” explained Brando. “So, their opportunity of making a statement is gone.”
It’s definitely an interesting statement from Brando as there’s the potential that Northwestern could be a top-10 – or higher – team in the country if they play the Buckeyes in the Big Ten Championship game.
