Dabo Swinney throws major shade at Florida State for postponing game vs. Clemson

Clemson’s date with the Florida State Seminoles, scheduled for November 21 in Tallahassee, was postponed after the two schools’ medical staffs could not agree on playing the game over coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns.
A war of words ensured, as Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney said the Seminoles were “ducking” his team on Sunday, causing Florida State head man Mike Norvell to respond on Monday with, “Football coaches are not doctors. Some of us might think we are.”
On Tuesday, Swinney continued this back-and-forth, throwing shade of the state of the Seminole program.
Dabo: “I’m not very worried about what they say down in Tallahassee. I’ve been here 18 years. They’ve had 3 coaches in 4 years. I’m not worried about advice from down in Tallahassee."

Ranked No. 4 in the nation at 7-1, Clemson will host the Pittsburgh Panthers (5-4) at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday on ESPN, while Florida State (2-6) will welcome in the Virginia Cavaliers (4-4) at 8 p.m. ET on the ACC Network.
If this game is to be made up, both programs have an open date on December 12.
