Michigan State beat Michigan this season.

That’s about the only positive news to come out of East Lansing this season.

The Spartans have yet to post another win and enter Saturday’s contest with unbeaten Northwestern after suffering back-to-back blowout losses against Iowa and Indiana.

The Spartans game last week with Maryland was cancelled due to COVID-19 issues.

Head coach Mel Tucker, in his first season at the helm of the Spartans program, is dealing with quarterback questions, as well as how to put together an offensive scheme that can handle Northwestern’s stifling defense.

Tucker spoke with the press on Tuesday for his weekly media conference, and addressed some of the issues the Spartans will be dealing with heading into the weekend.
