Ryan Day still believes Justin Fields is ‘the best QB in the country’ after throwing 3 INTs vs. Indiana

Anybody can have a bad day, even arguably the best quarterback in the country.
After Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields threw for three interceptions against Indiana on Saturday, the junior Heisman Trophy candidate merely let us all know he was, in fact, human.
Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day believes so, as well, and still thinks his QB is the best.

Fields had attempted 83 passes this season entering the game with Indiana, and completed all but 11 of them with zero picks. The widely heralded Hoosiers defense was able to pick off two out of Fields’ first five attempts, and managed another later in the game.
Overreaction is always an issue when things are going well, and suddenly stray. But one less-than-perfect outing against a top-level opponent is certainly no reason to panic. What is important to remember is that Fields is just entering his second season as Ohio State’s starter behind center, and will only get better.
What’s equally important, is that Fields and the Buckeyes earned the win.

Ohio State will travel to Illinois on Saturday, Nov. 28 with a 11:00AM scheduled kickoff.
