The school made the announcement on Tuesday:

Ben Jones of StateCollege.com was the first to report.

According to that report, the Nittany Lions are still scheduled to face off against the VMI Cadets on Saturday. Penn State also has nonconference games scheduled against VCU, Seton Hall and Virginia Tech in early December.

There have already been numerous cancelations across college basketball due to the coronavirus.

Penn State is currently No. 64 in KenPom.com’s preseason rankings. PSU is coming off one of its best seasons in recent memory as it went 21-10 overall and 11-9 in Big Ten play.
