Here’s what Archie Miller said following Indiana’s season-opening win

Indiana looked good in the season opener against Tennessee Tech.

Unfortunately for the Golden Eagles, they were a bit shorthanded and missing their head coach as he tested positive for COVID-19 days before the season opener. It was good the team still traveled for the game and hung around for a bit in the first half.

It did not take long for the Hoosiers to finally hit a stride and begin to pull away. Unsurprisingly, the big star for Indiana was Trayce Jackson-Davis who put up a game-high 26 points and added 11 rebounds for his first double-double of the new season.

Indiana also received 13 points from freshman Trey Galloway on 6-for-9 shooting his debut. Fellow freshmen Khristian Lander and Jordan Geronimo also scored in their debuts, but Anthony Leal failed to breakthrough in the scoring column.
