After Illinois blew out their first two opponents by 55 or more points, they were more than challenged today against Ohio but still got the win.

They ended up surviving 77-75 thanks to Ayo Dosunmu’s two late free throws which gave the Fighting Illini the lead with under three seconds left in the game. Trent Frazier made the final free-throw to make it a 77-75 victory for Illinois.

Here’s some of the other highlights from this game for Illinois:

Dosunmu actually led Illinois in scoring for this game as he had 27 points with seven rebounds and eight assists. This is the first time in Dosunmu’s career that he’s scored 20 or more points in three straight games.

Other players that scored in double figures for Illinois were: Kofi Cockburn, who had 13 points with 14 rebounds for a double-double, Adam Miller, who had 11 points, and Da’Monte Williams who had 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Illinois will have their next game against No. 2 Baylor on Dec. 2. That game will be televised by ESPN.
