For the first time in the Scott Frost era, Nebraska has a lead on Iowa.
Coming out of the half with a 13-13 tie, the Huskers received the ball to start the 3rd quarter. On the first drive, Nebraska needed 8 plays to drive 70 yards and get into the end zone. Rahmir Johnson raced across the goal line to give the Huskers a 20-13 lead over the Hawkeyes early in the 2nd half.
It’s the first lead Nebraska has had on the Hawkeyes under Frost.
The touchdown was also the second-consecutive possession in which the Huskers hit paydirt. They also scored on their final drive of the 1st half, tying the game before heading into halftime.

Nebraska and Iowa have been involved in some close battles in recent years. Each of the last two seasons, the Hawkeyes needed game-winning field goals to take down the Huskers.
Iowa currently owns a five-game winning streak over Nebraska, a streak the Huskers are desperately trying to end on Black Friday.
