Indiana is off and running after taking just a little bit of time to get rolling.

In the game against Maryland, the Hoosiers started sluggishly on their first drive of offense. It was a quick three-and-out that went backward with -2 yards on the drive.

Fortunately, Indiana woke up with a long, sustained 11-play drive that was kept alive by this big play. It turned out to be a 37-yard gain, and it was brilliant from start to finish.

It started with Michael Penix Jr. drawing the Maryland defense offsides with a hard snap count. It was a clear penalty with the flag thrown immediately, but the play went on.

Penix quickly had a defender on him, but he spun out of the tackle and just threw up a pass down the sideline. Initially, the throw appeared quite dangerous as it lofted down the sideline toward double coverage.

That is when Miles Marshall entered the scene, coming down with a huge catch into Terrapin territory:

Stevie Scott was able to finish that drive off with a short touchdown for an early 7-0 lead for the Hoosiers.
