Here’s what Tom Allen said following Indiana’s win over Maryland

It wasn’t a pretty Saturday, but the Hoosiers kept things rolling with a bounceback win over Maryland.
After the hard-fought loss to Ohio State, Indiana was understandably a bit sluggish to start the game. The defense did just enough to force Maryland QB Taulia Tagovailoa into some crucial miscues, otherwise, it may have been a first-half deficit instead of a slim 7-3 lead at the break.
Fortunately, the second half was all Hoosiers with Tom Allen’s squad scoring 20-unanswered points to pull away for the win. It was a good way to shake off the rust and get to 5-1 on the season, officially reaching the six-game threshold to qualify for the B1G Championship Game.
Here’s everything Allen had to say after the game:
Tom Allen on Michael Penix Jr., says it's a lower-leg injury. Will have to do more tests.
On Jack Tuttle: "Whatever position it is, guys have to step up when called upon." #iufb

On why Sampson James was out, Tom Allen says, "Can't share that. … Hopefully, he'll be updated on Monday, as well. But this is a crazy season, 2020 COVID, seems like there's a lot of things happening you don't expect.
"We hope he'll be back with us soon." #iufb
