Three Big Ten players have landed on Pro Football Focus’s team of the week after another week of action.
For left tackle, the honor went to Alaric Jackson of Iowa who was named to the Outland Trophy preseason watch before the season. He’s been one of their most consistent lineman all season.
At linebacker, Micah McFadden of Indiana was also on there as he had three tackles, an interception, and a sack this week against Maryland. For the season, he had 43 total tackles (33 solo) with three sacks and an interception. He was a part of a Hoosiers defense that limited the Terrapins to 11 points and forced three interceptions.
Finally, the only other Big Ten player on the team of the week was cornerback Gemon Green of Michigan. In Michigan’s 27-17 loss to Penn State, Green was one of their biggest standouts as he had seven total tackles (six solo). For the season, he has 22 total tackles (17 solo) with six passes defended.
