College GameDay took its time, but the ESPN pregame show has settled on a desination for Week 14 of the college football season. And it’s a stop nobody would’ve expected at the beginning of the year.
On Monday, the show announced it will be headed to Conway, South Carolina for the Saturday showdown between Coastal Carolina and Liberty. The No. 20 Chanticleers are 9-0 this season and have been a darling of the season. Liberty has been almost as good, coming into the matchup with a 9-1 record.
It will be the first time ever College GameDay has stepped foot on Coastal Carolina’s campus. The announcement was made via Twitter:

Kickoff between the two teams is set for 2 p.m. ET and the Chanticleers are a 7-point favorite. Coastal Carolina has one win over a Power 5 opponent, defeating Kansas 38-23 in the first game of the season. Liberty has two Power 5 victories, defeating Syracuse and Virginia Tech.
Liberty’s lone loss came to North Carolina State.
This should be a fun matchup in Conway.
