Here’s what Tom Izzo said after Michigan State’s first win at Cameron Indoor Stadium

There may be some things to clean up from Michigan State’s performance against the Blue Devils, but Tom Izzo has to be pleased with the result.
On Tuesday, Michigan State continued the hot start to the season with a hard-fought victory over No. 6 Duke. It was a particularly impressive defensive effort as the Spartans rallied from an early 10-point deficit.
After recovering from the rough start, it was a 14-3 stretch to start the second half that really put Michigan State on a roll. That stretch included six points from Rocket Watts and five points from Joey Hauser after he missed a lot of time in the first half due to fouls.
In the end, the Spartans made enough free throws late to hang on for the 75-69 win, Michigan State’s first win at Cameron Indoor Stadium in four tries. Here’s everything Tom Izzo said after the victory:

Michigan State’s schedule eases up a bit with games against Detroit and Western Michigan moving forward. Those contests will be at home before another ACC road trip to play at No. 15 Virginia on Dec. 9 for the B1G/ACC Challenge.
